House Hunting, Progress in the Ward

Haha okay so funny story. We are in the process of being kicked out of our house so this past week we havent spent a lot of time in our sector because we´ve been searching for a house.  Haha and you guys may no tknow this but it is very difficult to find a house here in Chile! Ha yeah..well after much prayer and having faith that the Lord would provide if we did our part, WE FOUND A HOUSE!!! Yay! However the Elders are still deciding if its good for us or not. Well if they decide against it thats okay because the Lord will provide. He always does.

This week we did not find any more people to teach and all our appointments fell through so we didnt get to teach a lot of people. BUT  we did make a lot of progress in our Ward and with our members.  Our Bishop now has a first counselor and we had a training from the Stake President for the whole stake on how consejo de barrio should run and amazingly enough several of the leaders in our barrio showed up! They explained how important Ward council is and how it revolves around our Ward misión plan. Plus we are teaching Hermana Obeso english weekly. We are so blessed to be in this area. Its progressing daily. The members are progressing rapidly. Id have to say one of the highlights of the wek was that we were able to teach Hermana Zelma and help her with her doubts by teaching by the Spirit. We have been trying to meet with her for the past 2 months. She is one of our less actives. We were able to share our own experiences and scriptures that helped her. She commited to come to church and although she did not come to church her eyes lit up a bit more and you could see her sorrows start to slowly melt away. I still feel like she will come back.

I love you all! Xoxo I miss you!
