Progress, Not About Baptisms, Being Guided, Forgiveness

This week has been great! Johnny, Guisela, and their family came to church after we had a great lesson with them on Tuesday about the priesthood. They loved it! Any doubts that they had were settled and Guisela has a baptismal date!!!!!! For the 28 of this month. We are super excited and have been teaching them a lot. haha everytime she had a doubt we taught that principle and she kept saying wow...its perfect. We have beenpraying like crazy to help her feel prepared and have no fear at all. hah I love seeing their progress. Its beautiful! Today we have a FHE with them and President and Hermana Obeso in the mission home. This last time Johnny was there which was a huge miracle because we works so much. He works over 16 hour days. its crazy and admirable. ha :) They are such a great family, i lvoe them sooo much! So yep they are progressing.

Daniel and Cecilia are also progressing. We taught them about baptism and Hermana Inzulza was there. They all became instant friends which is a GIGANTIC blessing. They are really studying the scriptures and wanted to come to church this past Sunday but couldnt because they were out of town. We have a lesson with them on Wednesday. Yay! Maybe theyll have a baptism date this week. You never know!! hahah Nah something ive really learned in the mission in that the mission isnt about baptisms. Its about bringing souls to come to Christ and yes baptism is one of the steps but no the only step. But we very blessed in the mission and in our sector. We found 3 less actives this week which was a miracle. What never seems to stop amazing me is that we find them randomly in the most random ways. hahah For instance, Hermana Latham and i searched for all these less actives and all of a sudden we will be walking and we get the feeling to turn around. So we turn around and there is this less active named Hardy and later we end up figuring out that he is a member. We also finally found Nivaldo and he needed service. We found Hernan whose wife passed away 2 months ago and now he wants to know more. We taught him a little about the plan de salvacion and he was crying. it was such a bitter sweet moment because we were all sad becasue he lost his wife but happy that he can see her again and that shes not lost. Its quite beautiful that Heavenly Father thought through everything!!! We wants us all to return to Him so He provided us with a plan..a plan where we can find happiness.

We taught Raquel and Monsarrat yesterday after church. It was beautiful. She is a less active and she has a daughter, Monsarrat. I feel like i just said this..haha anyways. They are super sweet and are having difficulties right now and are finding peace now. This week they are going to look for the blessings they have Gracias a El. Thanks to Jesus Christ. This week has been filled with miracles. Hermana Jopia are doing great. We are learning how to coordinate our teaching and now we are on fire. haha whoo! We are enjoying to work and have seen much success. This week we learned a lot about the Atonement of Jesus Christ and thanks to Him we can overcome 2 things in this life. Spiritual and physical death. We all are given the gift of inmortality after this life but when we do our part and receive His grace, we can overcome spiritual death. Its really beautiful. I also learned the importance of forgiveness. It is important for all of us to forgive one another. Thanks to the atonement and Jesus´ perfect example we dont have to carry grudges around with us. Its amazing that all those things that happened to us or that we did, we can be forgiven for, give forgiveness, and grow. Let us all confront our own dandelions in our front yard instead of looking at our neightbors yard. I know that as we do so that we will be more happier and be able to see our blessings and feel the presence of the Spirit more in our lifes.

I love you all. Nos vemos!

Love Hermana Brown
