Hermana Brown's Great Adventure in Chile!: Hna Otilia, "Oh little one... You should change that right away."

This week has been great!! We left with the old ladys in our barrio for our citas and haha well i am just going to tell you about one of them. Their is this sweet viajita en our barrio that left her family and served a mission when she had 60 years. Okay so she is one spunky, sweet old lady. We called her this week to see if she could visit a less avtice that we are reactivating, Sebastian. She said that she is still in her bed but that shed be ready for us when we came. So the hour quickly came in which we needed to go to her house in order to walk with her to Sebastians house. We knocked her door and she quicky opened the door, shhh-ed us and said to be quiet becasue she was sneaking out of her house and she didnt want her daughter to know. (Her daughter lives right next to her). hahah she quickly and very quietly shut the door and locked it. mean while explaining that she left the television on to keep her family thinking that she was still there in her house resting. hahaha it was the most funniest asn inspiring things ive ever seen in my life!!! Here is this little old lady who is determined to share the gospel and serve others. hahaha sneaking out of her house. Now i am not saying that we should all sneak out of our house but i am saying that we all should be commited to serve others.

Hahah anyways so we made it to the house of Sebastian and he wasnt there.. Which we found odd becasue we literally talked to him on the phone 15 minutes eralier. Commited and assured we waited outside knowing that he wqould show up but that he was probably running a quick errand before. Plus we were 15 min utes early. hahah Okay so his sister asnswers the door and she explains that Sebastian isnt there.. etc. Then Hna Otilia starts talking to her about the gospel and if she believed in Jesucristo. She explained that she believed and then Hna Otilia says so then what are ya? Do you go to church? haha The sister explains that she doesnt and that she hates the church but not just our but everyuones. Then sweet and bold Hna Otilia asks why?? The sister doenst havbe answer and then hna otilia explains to her oh little one... you should change that right away. You need to go to church and you need to grow your faith. The church is vital for our calsation...etc. haah Hna Jopia and i found oursleves with ur mouths hitting the floor. Here is hna Otilia still acting like a missionary at 84 years and being bold as ever! Hahah WE LOVE HNA OTILIA!!!

I am going to attach a photo of her adn i in our house after. Dont mind me... I look terrible. hahah Anyways shortly after Sebastian showed up and we had a great lecion with him. haha I love you all! Remember stand up for what you believe in and never judge who is ready for the gospel. Share what you believe. Its in the sharing of your testimony that is grows and you realize how precious and importante the gospel is in your life.
