Learning the Dance Steps and Hearing the Music

Wow this week we saw many miracles but im just going to telly ou about one of them. So for the past week and a half we have been giving the Mardones family space to breathe and to decide what they really wnat ad so they can feel the difference of the Spirit and nothing. We actually decided it together in Ward Council. Wednesday, i felt like we shouldnt visit them but my companion insisted so we planned them but it didnt work out...Thursday, same thing but this time we both decided to visit them...fell through. By Friday we felt likeit was officially the time because the other days didnt work out. We finally went over with Hno. Inzulza and for the first minute the parents werent there. We waitied for serioucly no longer than 1 minute while we were talking to Claris the daughter throught the window. They arrived and were super excited to see us. Invited us in and began to explain to us that they thought that we werent going to visit them ever againa dn all their feelings. They also explained that that morning separately they prayed for guidance in their lifes and how they need to raise their children and what path they should follow. Which i might just say is a miralce becasue Johnny never once prayed separtely becasue he felt ridiculous asking for things. We explained the last time that he needs to begin asking for simple things and help that he needs in order to see and feel as his prayers are being answered by his Heavenly Father. So Johnny anf Guisela said that they finally tried it and the same day we showed up, as their eyes were tearing up. The Spirit was so strong in the room that their is so way that someone could not feel it. They then explained many times that they feel like they received their answer and that they have plans to assist the church this Sunday. We continued teaching while also being taught. It was really honestly a beautiful experience. I enjoyed it very much.

The next day we passed by to invite them to a baptism that was happening in Francke, they explained that they cant this time only becasue they are preparing everything for church so thatthey can attend the next day.Theyalso read way more of the Book of Mormon than we gave them. However they explained that for sure next time there is a baptism they would like to go to see how it is. Claris the daughte was just about touching the ceiling jumping for excitement. hahah It was so adorable. Sunday came promptly and they all showed up...and thats right in their Sunday best!! I love them so much!! I have loved watching them progress and grow closer to the Lord.

Something I learned is that never should we get to the point where we are just going through the motions of the gospel. Like the Elder who gave the talk on listening to the music. WE can learn the dance steps but we need to be able to feel and listen to the music. Always find time to listen. Most of this family never had the gospel in their lifes before but they are in the process of learning the dance moves and listening to the music. Let us all remember to do the dance steps while listening. I love and miss you all. xxoxoxo

Love, Hermana Brown
