Pale and Balding at 9 Months; His Promises Are Real

So this past couple days and weeks have been an adventure...my companion was told, by our spunky old lady investigador Hayde, that she was going bald and needed to stop putting her hair up so tight... and i was asked by several members if i was sick..in which i replied ever so directly back to them ahah "no..im just not wearing makeup." lol.. nice right? haha My companion is going bald with a receeding hairline and i look sick without makeup. hahahaha we were laughing pretty hard. Gotta love hw direct people can get here. hahah nah but in all fairness i was actually overcoming from a bacteria from the food here. my face was super pale and my companions hair is bleach blonde adn pulled ina  tight ponytail can look that way. so we enjoyed some good laughs abut the comments from our peeps. lol Plus i lost my agenda for the first time after my companion lost hers for a week. haha but he got it back after a specific prayer so i said a specific pryer and i believe ill be getting it back soon. hhahaah Plus i took some pretty hilarious pregnancy photos celebrating my 9 months in the mission. Yes it is a tradition in the mission that you take a pregnacny photo at 9 months for the sisters.

Then we are proselyting in Ensenada which is near the Volcanos and its pretty neat because we have found excellent people there!! Plus each time we go up there we end up saying a specific prayer about something which ends up strengthening our faith significantly. Its a great experience!

Now as fro the verification.... did you guys make your goals? I hope you all did because it really helps greatly your progression! ☺

"Now, the decrees of God are unalterable ; therefore, the way is prepared that whosoever will may walk therein and be saved" (Alma 41:8). I love this scripture beause its true. The way is prepared for eternal life but we need to choose.  We have the gift of agency so He will never force us. The life is a test of priorites. What are yours? It is about time that we set our priorities straight. Its not easy but we can do it! The more time I study the scriptures and d the little things and the more time I have in the mission the more I realize that we really can receive all that the Father has...but its up to us to choose it. There is so many times that as human beings we dont think a promise applies to us or we are missing the faith...but it is true that HIS PROMISES ARE REAL!. We really can receive all that He has but WE need to believe and follow Him. Our Savior has provided the way that we can do so..trust in Him and His promises. He always keeps His promises and His words. "For he will fulfil all his promises which he shall make unto you, for he has fulfilled his promises which he has made unto our fathers" (Alma 37:17). Through seeing the experiences of others and having our own we can see that its true like this scripture says. He keeps His promises.

I love and miss you all! Please make the changes necessary to set your priorities straight. Set goals, make plans and do them! You have to want it to receive it!

Love,
Hermana Brown
