So there you guys go. Ive been feeling really good this past week about going to Chile. I am loving it. I feelat peace and I know that if I set my expectations high and have faith then God is given the opportunity to help me. On Friday we had a bunch of workshops of how to be a preach my gospel missionary and basically it just really prepared us for the field. We have taught 5 lessons since ive talked to you guys last and in each lesson i could feel the Spirit so strongly that I knew what to say. I am just so incredibly grateful for the opportunity I had to be here at the CCM and learn so much. My confidence has grown exceedingly  and so has my faith. Its very true when people say that you feel the lowest lows in the CCM and also the highest highs but how would we know whats good if we didnt experience those lows, right? For example, try to describe how salt tastes to me if Ive never tried it before. You just cant. :) So it is with faith and experiences, we have to experience it for ourselves and act on it in order to know what it feels like.

I really want you guys to look up the story of President Thomas S Monson and the mission that he closed and reopened in order for their to be success. I forgot where it was...i think like Europe or something. Ill know next week when i have my notebook on me. Im sure you can find it in the meantime. It is a beautiful story though. It just proves that it is by faith that God works miracles and if we dont have miracles happening then we are lacking faith. Oh and something i really enjoyed learning about in the CCM is how Faith is a principle of action. Nourish it, anct on it and it will grow.

So for Thanksgiving we had a live devotional by Elder David A Bednar broadcasted from the Provo MTC. It was amazing as usual but it was different this time. He gave us the opportunity to ask him questions and he would answer as many as he got to. Next week i will get to that but we are now out of time. I love you and miss you all so very much! Oh and Elder Bednar asked us to each ask our families if you  would pray for us to have to gift of tongues every morning at night. He promised that if you guys did that I would be blessed with it. So please pray for me to have the gift of tongues and I know that Ill will be blessed greatly for it. I love you all and I hope that your thanksgiving was wonderful and that you could feel my love.

Love
Hermana Brown
